The E812/ADJ is a high quality vandal-resistant 2-stage tamperproof thermostat designed to accurately control fan convectors in schools and public or commercial buildings to within 0.5°C.

The E812/ADJ regulates to a fully adjustable temperature setpoint between +16°C and +26°C, combined with an adjustable temperature hysteresis (differential) of anything between 0.25°C and 4°C and an adjustable 2nd Stage between 2ºC and 10°C below the setpoint. The temperature setpoint is fully adjustable by the end-user up to a pre-defined maximum temperature which is selected at installation. This provides satisfaction to the end-user in that they believe they have full control over the room temperature but also provides significant savings to the bill payer as they are able to permanently limit the maximum temperature the end-user is capable of selecting.

The E812/ADJ has two stages of control. Below a pre-selected temperature the thermostat will control the high-speed fan to bring the room quickly up to temperature. Once the unit has achieved this level it switches to the low-speed fan for normal daytime use, regulating the room temperature up to the pre-selected temperature setpoint.

Once the room temperature eventually reaches the chosen temperature setpoint the fan is turned off. This makes for quieter operation during normal daytime occupancy periods with the added benefit of rapidly bringing the room up to temperature when the heating is initially switched on.
