The E314/24V is a single-shot programmable extension timer with delay designed to control part, or all of a heating, lighting or air-conditioning system outside normal occupancy hours.
A voltage-free 16A relay output is switched on for a configurable time period after a delay period has elapsed, thus enabling plant equipment to be automatically activated at the correct time in the future without any user being present. The units automatic power saving mode will dim the LED displays after the unit has been inactive for two minutes.
Effective energy control and beneficial time-management of personnel is obtained through the fully configurable Delay and Extension periods. The Delay period is adjustable from 0.5 hours to 99 hours (steps of 0.5 hours up to 9.5, then steps of 1 hour thereafter) and the Extension period is adjustable from 1 to 9 hours (steps of 1 hour). Maximum limits for both the Delay and Extension times can be programmed, ensuring the end-user cannot generate delays or extensions longer than the authorised user allows. When not in use, the extension timer enters a power-saving standby mode in an effort to reduce its energy usage.
24 Volt (/24V)
This extension timer is designed to operate from a 24 volt (AC or DC) power source (instead of the standard operating voltage of 230V AC). This is primarily used for safety or low-voltage systems.
