The E315 is a single-shot programmable plant extension timer designed to control part, or all of a heating, lighting or air-conditioning system outside normal occupancy hours. It is housed in a single-gang British Standard faceplate form factor with touch-sensitive pushbuttons and LED displays.

A voltage-free 16A relay output is switched on for a configurable time period. The unit’s automatic power saving mode will dim the LEDs after the unit has been inactive for two minutes.

The E315 is an extremely user-friendly device that provides effective energy control and beneficial time-management of personnel is obtained through the fully configurable “Extension” period which is adjustable from 0.5 hours to 99 hours (steps of 0.5 hours up to 9.5, then steps of 1 hour thereafter). A maximum limit for the Extension time can be programmed, ensuring the end-user cannot generate an extension longer than the authorised user allows. When not in use, the extension timer enters a power-saving standby mode in an effort to reduce its energy usage.
