Our range of Soft Start Timers are a fully weatherproof solution for controlling up to 6kW of electric heaters (such as quartz halogen). They provides timed heat on demand delivering typical energy savings of up to 30% by switching off automatically when unattended. The timer will also prolong the life of the heating elements and reduce electrical wiring stresses through soft-start and soft-stop technology, thus reducing maintenance costs.

    The SST4-PB is a fully weatherproof Soft Start Timer which provides timed control of infrared and quartz halogen heating up to 4kW prolonging the life of heating elements and reducing energy consumption by up to 30%.  It features an integral pushbutton to control the unit, while an LED facilitates location of the pushbutton in the dark, and indicates the status of control (flashing to show when less than one minute remains before the unit will automatically switch off). read more
